Moving into a property which already has an ADT alarm system fitted?
Who should I contact?
In the first instance phone your local ADT branch and ask to speak to the Customer Service Co-ordinator. He or she will be able to send you the relevant paperwork to sign in order to transfer the system contract to your name. If the system is monitored you will also need to provide us with keyholder names.
What do I pay?
The payment that you will be requested to make is an administration and takeover fee which covers the following costs:
- Registration of your details at our Alarm Receiving Centre
- A technician visit to ensure that the system is working correctly and that it meets with regulatory specifications
- The reprogramming of the system with your dedicated security code numbers
- A full demonstration of the features and functions of the system
- Registration of your details with the Garda Siochana to ensure that their requirements have been met
- Issue of new contract and specification documentation
