Keyholders and building managers are also notified to ensure that the premises is secure after an incident and to ensure that action is taken in the event of a potentially damaging power cut.

ADT reserve the right to programme the alarm panel to signal using a premium rate telephone number. An alarm signal takes approximately 8 seconds to transmit, therefore the cost of a call is typically a few smaller-currency.
